1. Georgia Form W-2 Filing Requirements for the 2020 Tax Year
Employers in Georgia must file Form W-2 with the state in addition to federal filing only if there is a state withholding to report.
As an employer in the state of Georgia, you must file
- Form W-2 - Wage and Tax Statements
- Form G-1003 - Withholding Year End Reconciliation
2. Georgia Form G-1003 (Withholding Income Statement
Transmittal Form)
Form G-1003 is a Withholding Income Statement Transmittal Form for reporting the total tax amount withheld from employees’ paycheck.
Georgia requires Form G-1003 along with the Form W-2.
3. Georgia Form W-2 Filing Deadline
The deadline for filing both Form W-2 is
February 01, 2021. The deadline for filing Withholding Income Statement Transmittal Form G-1003 with the Georgia state is February 01, 2021

4. Georgia Form W-2 Penalty
