1. Utah Form W-2 Filing Requirements for the 2020

Employers in Utah must file Form W-2 with the state in addition to federal filing Even only if there is a no withholding to report.
As an employer in the state of Utah, you must file

- TC-941E - Utah Withholding Return
2. Utah TC-941E
(Utah Withholding Return)
TC-941E is an Annual Reconciliation of Utah Income Tax Withheld for reporting the total tax amount withheld from an employee’s paycheck.
Utah requires TC-941E along with the Form W-2.
3. Utah Form W-2 Filing Deadline
The deadline for filing Form W-2 is February 31st, 2021. The deadline for filing the Utah Withholding Return
TC-941E with the Utah state is February 28, 2021.
